Message :So are you saying if you built a road course car, you would never take it to the drag strip just out of curiousity?

Yeah, I'd take it there for curiosity, but I wouldn't start complaining when it fails to do what it never was intended to do. But then again, I've never followed the import mag mindset so I guess I just think too rationally.

I'd like to see you do any better. If the car wasn't designed for drag racing, its not going to launch worth a damn regardless of who is behind the wheel.

You clearly do not understand the principles behind such a comparison. My 60 foot time was 2.01 seconds on plain street tires, which is better than most do. It's not possible to drive the car faster than it is capable of going, but it's entirely possible to drive the car slower than it's capable of going, and that's what this driver did.

Maybe you should read the article again. Reading comprehension obviously isn't your strong point.

Reading comprehension actually always has been my strong point. All throughout school I scored extremely well on proficiency tests. I usually scored in the 98th-99th percentile throughout school. In fact, I'd be more than happy to compare my test scores to yours just to make you feel bad.

I love arguing with idiots, I enjoy the feeling of mentally driving someone into the ground. And when you have that ability, why not use it?

You are a victim of contemporary American society. We protect and accomodate the indolent and incapable. If one does not do well on a test, what do you do? Do you try harder so you succeed next time? No! This is America! You ban the test because comparisons are hurtful and insensitive. People's abilities must not be measured, everyone's voice must be heard, not matter how ineffective their word is. Your parents were strong believers in this philosophy, that's why you're in the mental position you're in now.

Keep your chin up, buddy, because you're important, and I care... honest :-)
